Fund Raising for a New Fire Station on Cape Rosier

The department recently launched a project to construct a new satellite fire station on Cape Rosier. The Department owns the parcel of land, which formerly belonged to the Rosier Grange, and has demolished the existing structure.  We recently acquired a used firetruck from Dedham-Lucerne Fire Department and intend to house it on the Cape. The new Cape Station would dramatically improve response time in that area. The truck is a certified Class A pumper. Cape residents could potentially realize improved fire insurance rates based on their proximity to the new station.  The project is a major undertaking for our small, all-volunteer department and we intend to utilize the department’s own financial resources in addition to town funding, capital gifts, and grants if applicable.

We greatly appreciate all charitable gifts, and are specifically seeking capital gifts which would allow us to maintain our ambitious plan to have the station in service by the end of 2025.  For more information, please contact us via email or phone.  We can't do it without your support!
